We have recently moved into a new office/warehouse space in American Fork, UT and it has worked out so nice. We have a bit of retail space in the front of the house that is dedicated to our local customers and we invite you to come in and take a look at our current summer items. We are open this week Monday- Friday 12:00pm- 5:00pm and after this week we will only be open one day per week. We do have some good persnickety deals going so come and stop by if you are close. We are located at 100 N 26 W in American Fork, UT. If you need directions or have questions give us a call at 801-492-4380. Thanks to all for your support and interest in Persnickety Clothing. The fall items are amazing and will be available soon at retailers around the country and online. In addition to fall, we are producing samples for an amazing Spring 2011 line.

These little girls were so incredible! I have never met two year old girls who could endure a photo shoot for over 2 1/2 hours with so much cuteness! They are so beautiful it is ridiculous! Thanks to Highlite Photography for yet another amazing shoot. We love you guys!

New York City!!! Wow what an experience. We are here. It is a great time! We had our first day at the show and it went well. It is so fun to meet so many great people. There is so much that goes into this and it is good to no longer feel so alone in such a grueling process. Here are some fall 2010 wholesale pictures.

Wow it has been a long time.

I am a little embarrassed about not writing for so long. Things have been crazy as we prepare to launch our wholesale line for fall 2010. We have sales reps in California and also Dallas that will be selling for us. We will also be in New York in March at the Children's Club show introducing our line. We are really excited about this as it will be a way to spread Persnickety across the country. We love when people send us pictures of their little ones in Persnickety gear. Here are a few pictures that were sent to us. These girls are beautiful.

Thanks to all of you that have purchased online and at the store. We appreciate your business.

He was picking out great outfits and trying them on his girls and having a passionate opinion, and it was obviously a good one because look at his girls in these photos! Wow! They are adorable. All of the woman were dying wishing there husbands were that fun to shop with. Come on men step it up a notch. He! He! We have some great promotions right now. Buy a dress get a pair of bells 1/2 off or buy two dresses get a free! pair of bells. We also have a promotion where if you refer the most friends in to the store you get a $500 gift certificate to the store and it ends December 31st. So tell your friends to tell them at the register who referred you and be the winner! Fun things to take advantage of. Notice the rosette top and the awesome flower on it. It is fantastic and washable. Also the bells that roll over yoga style. They layer so great with skirts and are incredible with just about any thing in there wardrobe. Our new line is very fun and we hope all of our customers can come see our new stuff and store. We are opening up on Halloween at 3:00 pm. Bring your children to the mall for great trick-or-treating in the warmth. It is a great place to be for Halloween. Thanks to all of the great Persnickety supporters we are able to do this and we are excited to make this step forward. We are still needing a few more employees so if you or anyone you know needs a great job, send them our way. It is a great mom job (limited hours and great discounts). We hope to see you all soon. Wow it has been way too long since I have posted a blog and given an update on Persnickety Clothing. A lot is happening around hear and we have been so busy with the future of the company. Right now we are finalizing a retail store. We will do the home parties and the website, which by the way thankfully is being redone, so that for one it actually works and you can transact business on it, and two it will look and feel so much better. No offense to my husband but he did it and has never attempted to anything along those lines before. It is pretty great considering that fact. However it does not work for those of you who have tried to buy something and could not. Sorry. I am so excited to get that up and running.
I have to tell you "SPRING IS DONE!!!!!!!" I can hardly believe it. This is huge for me. I have the two most fabulous woman helping me design now and I can't even hardly stand how much I love it. My dear Mother who is the most incredible interior decorator on the planet. She has been doing it for 30 plus years and amazing at what she does. Anything that has to do with color and textiles she is the woman. I learned all I know from her. Thanks mom! Next Jen Owen. She is one of the most talented people I have ever met. And the funniest too. She has an awesome line of girls and boys applique shirts called Ruby moon. She is an artist, and has worked in the clothing industry for 15 years. She is so stinking talented it is not even funny. She is designing with us now so keep and eye out and if you know her you will see her stuff shine out through Persnickety Clothing and you will love it. I am so happy to have these two. I can hardly wait to see spring all made up. If you liked my first two lines, well my next is so much better and spring is hard to tell you in words how much I love it. Super yummy!
Craig went to Nicaragua this summer and made some great connections there. The people there are so great and the need for help is overwhelming. There is great poverty there and we hope to start donating and working with these amazing people soon. Craig had some really great experiences there and we will share more of the info later about this trip. There are some great things in the works and we have crossed paths with some of the neatest people on earth. The Lord has opened  doors for many amazing things and we are so excited to donate clothes to many boys and girls around the world.
I will let everyone know soon what mall location we will be opening  up in the next few weeks. I should know by the weekend for sure. It has been a long drawn out process and we are anxious to be done and moved in. Thanks for all of the support!

Gross snotty nose!
Isn't photo shop crazy!

Girls playing so Persnickety . I just can't help but take pictures when they look so cute! Notice I don't even care if they get dirty out here. I just throw them in the wash and they look brand new again!

And this is why!! We were cleaning dirt out of noses ears and all of the nooks and crannies for days. So much fun
Me, Isaac, Lily, and Macie Jane riding in my kind of protected four wheeler!

Babe Ruth to be

My son Isaac loves baseball and truly wants to be Babe Ruth.

Cookies

Leah said to me the other day "Mom will you teach me how to cook?" What a happy moment as a mom to have your oldest daughter ask you to teach her to do something that would be soooo helpful. So we started with cookies. It was great. Yummy too.
Big soft ginger cookies!
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp.ginger
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cinnamon
1/2 ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. In seperate bowl, cream butter until creamy and light. Add egg and molasses; beat well. Mix dry ingredients into beater. Shape into balls 1 1/2" size. Roll lightly in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Cook for about 10 min. Don't overcook. They are better when soft! Enjoy and take to the people who need some sweetness in their life.

Photoshoot

O.K. folks- The photoshoot today was amazing!!! Thanks to highlite photography. I can't wait to have the pics back to show. This line is great. I love seeing the girls in it. It is amazing how it looks so different on each person. It takes on its own personality on each and every person that is wearing it. Thank goodness for all of the cuties out there. I love being a girl! I love having girls! And I love making clothing for your cute girls. Thanks to all of the support I have out there. We could not do it without all of your help and support.
Craig is going to South America to get the ball rolling on the buy one give one. He leaves the end of July. I am so incredibly excited. As much as I love dressing your girls, nothing will put a smile on my face quite like seeing those clothes go to children who are literally desperate for them. I talked to one of my contact people who we are working with to distribute clothing to in Central America and he said that most of the families we will be giving to make 3-5 dollars a day. Needless to say- these clothes are much needed. Thanks for supporting the cause. I feel like we are off to such a great start!
